Founded by Brandi Davis, a proud New Orleans native, the brand was inspired by one of the most iconic figures in Black neighborhoods across the South, The Candy Lady. She was more than the keeper of sweet treats; she was one of the first entrepreneurs we ever saw. From frozen cups and chips to the latest candies, she represented independence, hustle, and heart, serving her community one small delight at a time. For Brandi, that memory never faded. The Candy Lady was more than a childhood experience — she was a symbol of possibility. And years later, that spirit became the foundation of The Candy Lady Cosmetics: a brand built for the everyday woman who does it all and still manages to shine.
